Under Firefox, the module throws the following browser error when you click on the Hide link.

"Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression."

Internet Explorer is fine. Could you please assist ASAP.

Here is the error thrown from Safari.

The error is: “cannot decode raw data” (CFURLErrorDomain:-1015)

I looked at a few search results for the errors you are having and I don't think the Welcome module is the culprit. Those errors seem to point to a problem with gzip compression on your site. Try going into the host settings and turning gzip compression off temporarily and see if you have the same issue.
