I need to know how I can add a tab which is just a link.
If I use the "href" in the tab title it displays a link just fine, BUT I need to have content in order for the tab to show up.
Is there a setting by where I can just display a tab with no content? Just like creating a DNN page that is just a redirect or link.

Thanks...

Hi Mark,

You can't do this directly through the settings but you can do it with a customized skin/template.

Create a copy of an existing skin, one that you want to base your new skin off of. You can do it manually or if you are using Aggregator 6 or greater you can use the copy skin feature.

Once you have your new skin, you'll need to mimic a tab by adding the same html that is rendered for a tab normally. I did this recently for one of the pager demos in the Aggregator demo area, pager #3. The most recent download of Aggregator has a new demo skin which shows 3 different pagers. Pager 3 has some added code in the tabstrip.html file that shows how to add a tab on either side of the normal tabs.

Edit: the code I was trying to post isn't coming out right in this forum. I'll have to mess around with some settings and post again. Please send me an email and I'll send you the code directly.

Forgot to add.  For anyone else wanting to do this,  you can accomplish all of these changes without leaving the module by using the Skin Manager.   It's a very nice feature.

Glad it worked Mark. Just make sure you did this change under a skin of your own and not one of the shipped DNNStuff skins or else it will get overwritten on your next upgrade.
