I'm currently beta testing and dog fooding a new version of Aggregator for both DNN2 and DNN3. If any existing customers would like to try the beta version in a non production environment, please contact me.
For a little preview of what you can do with the new customized tab captions, take a look at the home page, http://www.dnnstuff.com/ and notice the Stats and Where tab of the users online module. I've placed a couple of 16x16 gifs in the caption of each tab using the token replacement feature. You can use one of the new tokens [DNN:ImageUrl] which is automatically replaced with the url to the images folder for your site. In the case of the Stats caption, I'm using the following:

There are also other tokens available such as DNN:Portal.PortalId, DNN:User.FullName etc. so tab captions can be customized dynamically.
Another new feature in this version is the ability to nest Aggregators within one another. I will post a sample soon showing how flexible and easy it is to do this.
