This is an open request for module ideas. Yes, I have a few little gems coming up that I think you'll like but I want to hear from you about what you think is lacking in the DNN arena. Anything is an option, so please leave a comment and I'll sift through the requests and come up with my next project.

P.S. If anyone is interested in posting an article about anything DotNetNuke related, please register and let me know and I'll give you the proper privileges to submit.

Hi,

I don't know if this could be a module but I have to create personalized forms collecting user info and storing it in a new table in my database. I do this in Dreamweaver regularly but I need to integrate it smoothly into the DNN environement, maybe in a module ?
Form Creator cretes the forms but stores the information vertically so it's not possible to (or at least very complicated to) do a query using SQL language.

Thanks

I am doing a website for several refugee agencies. People need to register for the agency that they work for, which means that an agency/organization/business field needs to be available in registration. I need to also make a list of agency members and do an email to the members of an agency. The bulk email is too cumbersome.

Thanks.

A "What's New" module would be real handy! There was one for DNN 1 but no one has a DNN 2 module that can show what has been added to a site in the last x number of days. Ie. I need to show what new announcements, downloads, events, and what new reports (SQL) that have added to my site in the last 30 days. This could show on the Home tab in a scrolling window showing a brief description and link to the new item. When the user pauses on the scrolling window they could click on an item and be taken to the new addition (which could be a new download, and announcement etc). I am sure everyone would want a module like this.

A Newsletter module that could pull information from existing modules and populate content in arranged areas on a Newsletter. The Newsletter could then be emailed to a role from the Portal with links to the Portal content. Also need to include a 'Subscribe/Unsubscribe' link so that a user can stop further emails. Also ability to achieve newsletters for users to look at on Portal.
