When I tried the example "How To Use an XSL file with SQLView", the module displayed the results as a continuous list of data. No errors occurred. DNN 4.9.1 installed.

example results:

71Hosttrue0truefalse//Hosttrue161Host Settingstrue71icon_hostsettings_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//Host Settingstrue173Portalstrue71icon_sitesettings_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//Portalstrue185Module Definitionstrue71icon_moduledefinitions_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//Module Definitionstrue197File Managertrue71icon_filemanager_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//File Managertrue209Vendorstrue71icon_vendors_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//Vendorstrue2111SQLtrue71icon_sql_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//SQLtrue2513Scheduletrue71icon_scheduler_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//Scheduletrue2715Languagestrue71icon_language_16px.giffalsefalse//Host//Languagestrue2917Search

Any ideas why this would happen?

Hi, I'm not sure why this would happen. Are you using the latest sqlview module? Do you have a public page where I can see this happen?

It could be because the path you have to the xsl file in sqlview is incorrect.

Ok, I just tried the same thing on DNN 4.9.1 and it's not working for me. I think one of the core methods that I'm relying on must have changed. Let me look into the source for the module and I'll see what I can find.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I just posted a new release with a fix. There was some discrepancy between the xml generated when using the dnn database as opposed to another database with a connection string. I've changed it so all xml data will be consistently named no matter where the data comes from.

I'll change the article to reflect the new xsl syntax for the dataset and rows.

Thanks again.
