Hi Richard,

How do you configure the module so that when you visit the page it will always end up on the first tab?  I searched and couldn't find anything on it...

Thanks!
Steve

Hi Steve,

There isn't a way to do that right now but I do have it on my enhancement list. I'll try to get it out in an update soon after I get a couple of other more pressing issues solved.

Ok, I'll need to know the version of DNN you are using and how you have your tabs set up as well as which skin you are using.

DNN Version is 4.9.2, and I tried many different skins, including the default one. It still does not open the first tab for me. I have emailed you both - the configuration page and how the page looks like

Hi David,

Are you getting not getting any tabs selected initially or does it happen only if you change the default tab to something other than 1?

I am having the same problem w/ Aggregator 5.6.8 running on DNN 5.1.4. No content for the default tab shows until you click on the tab. It doesn't matter which tab is specified as the default. The tab contents won't display until the tab is clicked.

Do you have any other modules on the page?

Hi,

I am still getting this problem.

Many time.. when I view the page where the aggreagtor is placed.. no tabs is selected.. this is very bad.. ;)
Since visitors need to manually select a tab in order to view the content..

is there a fix on this? and on the previous problem ? to alwasy show the default tab. ?
There is a setting for it in the module, but it does not appear to be working.

Please help out..
I need to replace the module, if this is not fixed soon..
and I would rather not.. since it is a great module otherwise..

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

Can you send me the DNN version and the Aggregator version you are using please? I've had this problem off and on with some users and I'd really really like to get it fixed for those that are having problems, but as you can see no one replies to any of the questions I'm asking to get to the bottom of it.

In most instances it's because there is another module on the page that is hijacking the onload event which ends up messing up any of the other dnn modules that play by the rules. Try removing other modules on the page one by one and see if the problem corrects itself. If it does it's because that module that was removed is hijacking the onload event.
