Hi Richard,

I am trying to find out where the problem lies. Basically spiders are throwing an error on any page which has CSSInclude on it (yet when viewing with a normal browser it renders fine).

"Multiple controls with the same ID '_Portals_6_Site_css_PokerDIYTour_css' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs."

I changed my UserAgent in FF/IE and navigate to this page and it throws the error every time.
http://www.pokerdiy.com/find-poker-games/home-poker/view/poker-game/12084/manhattan--nyc-times-square-poker.aspx (logged out)

The strange thing is that when I view the source there is only ONE occurrence of that ID (and only one CSS Include mod on that page).
LINK id="_Portals_6_Site_css_PokerDIYTour_css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/Portals/6/Site/css/PokerDIYTour.css"

Any ideas? Do you perhaps do anything fancy with the USerAgent?

Thanks
Rodney

Ok, I found the problem.

This happens when you have caching set on the module. Setting it to 0 fixes it. I would prefer to have it cached though?

Hi Rodney,

I'm not doing anything really special with that module, just injecting the LINK tag and css information so I'm not sure why caching is an issue. It could be because the module doesn't provide any content where the module lies, instead injecting that tag in the head. I don't think that caching the module will give you anything in terms of performance anyway since it's a single line of html and if the user has the css file already there's a good chance it's cached for them. I'll investigate further when I have some time to spend against it.
